Conor McGregor Buys a Flame-Throwing Lamborghini
Conor McGregor has a tendency to run his mouth, but he wasn’t just talking loud when he said he’s “buildin’ a proper fleet” of cars.
Following his victory against Jose Aldo at UFC 194, McGregor celebrated the only way he knows how – by dropping $500,000 on a Rolls-Royce that came fully equipped with Mariah Carey’s greatest hits. Clearly one luxury car wasn’t enough of a reward for his hard work though, because he wasted little time adding a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster to his absurd collection, according to TMZ.
That’s a long way of saying he bought a snazzy Lamborghini at the expensive price of $500,000. And to make it stand out even more, the car spits hot fire. Like, actual hot fire – hence the reason McGregor’s calling it “The Flamethrower.” That’s probably also why it looks like he’s driving the Batmobile around Los Angeles.
Oh, and before you go ahead and compare him to Floyd Mayweather for making lots of cash, spending a handsome chunk of it on luxurious cars and showing them off for the world to see on social media, McGregor wants to clear the air.
“I’m not trying to rub it in posting these,” McGregor wrote on Instagram. “We don’t even have these at home. I am blessed. I celebrate and reward each of these good moments with more hard work and effort. And through this I receive more good moments.”
It’s just too bad one of those “good moments” won’t be McGregor’s face on the Euro coin. You really dropped the ball, Ireland.
