Luke Bryan Extends Kill the Lights Tour, Adds Stadium Dates
It’s safe to say that Luke Bryan won’t be spending 2016 savoring the fruits of his labor at home. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year has already announced a second leg of his Kill the Lights tour, adding more than 40 additional dates to an itinerary that will keep him on the road for the majority of the year.
The first leg of the tour gets underway February 18th and hits 21 cities before May 14th. The second — and longer — leg picks up on May 20th in Atlanta and has Bryan playing multiple nights in amphitheaters in many cities as well as hitting stadiums (which he revealed in a separate video announcement). Among those supersized venues are Boston’s Gillette Stadium, Chicago’s Wrigley Field (Luke’s first baseball stadium) and the gargantuan AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Additionally, the Kill the Lights tour dates will include stops at several summer festivals like Bayou Country Superfest, Country USA and Country Thunder Calgary.
Joining the “Strip it Down” singer on both legs of the tour will be Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch and the singer promised in a Periscope video that he would be “sprinkling in some special guests” throughout.
On January 22nd, Bryan’s second Crash My Playa destination concert will take place in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Additional performers at the event include Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell and Sam Hunt.
