Watch Stephen Curry School the Globetrotters With Pregame Warm-Up
Stephen Curry’s pregame routine has long been popular among diehard fans in the NBA, but, like, who wants to get to the arena early? Well, as Curry and the Golden State Warriors have become the hottest thing in the Association, the answer seems to be “everybody.”
These days, ESPN actually pays people to track Curry’s makes and misses during warmups (all 180 of them), and fans are so desperate to catch a glimpse of Curry at work that the Warriors are considering opening their doors half an hour earlier to fulfill their needs. Hell, Curry has even drawn comparisons to a zoo animal – always on display – by Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton. That’s how ridiculous it’s gotten.
Anyway, because the first portion of Curry’s pregame routine involves a number of mesmerizing dribbling drills, even the Harlem Globetrotters took notice – and decided to try and replicate it before the Warriors took on the Lakers on Thursday. Seeing as their handles are equally ridiculous, they should’ve had as good of a shot as anyone at pulling it off. But they couldn’t, because Curry is not of this world and neither is his pregame routine.

Seeing as the Warriors fell 3,562 games short of tying the Harlem Globetrotters’ win streak earlier this season, we’ll go ahead and chalk this up as a victory for Golden State.
