Busta Rhymes Bloodied in Stage Fall After Going Too ‘Hard’
Busta Rhymes was left bloodied after falling off the stage in the early morning hours Friday. The rapper was making a surprise appearance at O.T. Genasis’ concert at New York’s Webster Hall when the incident occurred. In a video of the incident posted by World Star Hip Hop, we see the rapper, cigar and alcohol in hand, headbanging so violently at the edge of the stage that he slipped and fell forward into the crowd.
Security and members of Rhymes’ entourage rushed into the audience to check on his wellbeing as well as clear some space between the rapper and the crowd. Upon standing back up, Rhymes staggers momentarily before bringing his hands, sans cigar and alcohol, to his head.
TMZ later revealed photos showing that the top of the rapper’s head was bloodied. After getting cleaned up backstage, Rhymes did not come back out onstage, but he immediately let fans know on Twitter that he wasn’t hurt too seriously. In fact, Rhymes had a sense of humor about the embarrassing slip, even sharing an Instagram video of his fall off the stage.
