Watch Miley Cyrus Slide Down Giant Tongue in ‘Bangerz’ Tour DVD Trailer
Miley Cyrus has previewed the official Bangerz tour DVD with a short trailer packed with some of her silliest live moments, including her sliding down a tongue, wearing hillbilly dentures and cavorting with dancers dressed as Mount Rushmore.
Like the concert special that aired on NBC, the tour DVD pulls from the international leg of Cyrus’ 2014 tour, including a stop in Barcelona. For the special, Cyrus gave a peek at her backstage life as well as highlights from the concerts. The more family-friendly version of the tour that aired on TV, however, still received a few complaints from viewers for indecency.
Cyrus’ show was a wild spectacle where she mocked her public image and played a surreal game of dress-up. She also showed off her vocals on original songs and covers, taking on Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” and The Smiths’ “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.” “I know what I’m doing,” said Cyrus in her Rolling Stone cover story where she jumped out of an airplane and got Rolling $tone tattooed on her foot. “I know I’m shocking you.”
Most recently, Cyrus made an appearance at the Tibet House Concert where she sang back-up for Patti Smith during the group finale of “People Have the Power.” She has also been flexing her visual art abilities, making cover art for friend Cody Simpson‘s single “Flower.”
The Bangerz DVD is set for release on Tuesday, March 24th.
