#YOLO: Watch Walter White’s Facebook ‘Look Back’ Clip
Last week, Facebook created a video for every user called “A Look Back” that “compiles your highlights since joining.” So, in the name of democracy, why shouldn’t Breaking Bad antihero Walter White have a shot at displaying his most “liked” innocuous life moments like everyone else?

In a parody created by South African comedy duo Derick Watts and the Sunday Blues, six years in the life of Bryan Cranston’s character are squashed into an one-minute montage with trite piano playing in the background. His “first moments” show White teaching and cavorting with his wife, her sister and his brother-in-law on vacation and fishing with his son. A shot of his RV with Jesse Pinkman bears the caption, “Got a sweet new ride! Life is a highway,” and 25 thumbs ups.
But the funniest moments are White’s use of “LOL” in a post calling Pinkman “a bitch” and a sad face accompanying a pic of him receiving cancer treatment (“This was a shitty day,” he wrote.) The best is a shot of White mugging in his Heisenberg hat and sunglasses, with the caption reading, “Bought a hat and sunglasses today! #YOLO.” More internet colloquialisms abound as the pace – and White’s life – picks up.
Later this year, AMC will be showing off a look back of another kind for Breaking Bad character Saul Goodman. Last month, the network said Better Call Saul would premiere (for the sake of rhyming) in the fall.
In other news regarding Facebook “Look Back” videos for characters who started off good and subsequently went to the dark side, Darth Vader has one, too, thanks to a YouTube user named Joshua Dill. Among its highlights are a smarmy yet well-“liked” posts like “No, I am your father!” and a pic captioned “Slayin’ jedi. Darkside FTW!!!” But when did Vader join Facebook? “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away. . . “
