Bryan Cranston Can’t Pronounce ‘Badonkadonk’ on ‘Jimmy Fallon’
Bryan Cranston is a master of his craft, easily assuming the complex persona of former President Lyndon B. Johnson or diving into the life of the maniacal meth kingpin Walter White — but it turns out the great actor does not know how to pronounce “Badonkadonk.” Cranston tripped over the bootylicious term during a riotous game of “Word Sneak” on The Tonight Show Monday night, mouthing to the camera “I don’t know what that is” while host Jimmy Fallon lost it.
‘Godzilla’ and 60 More Reasons to Love 2014
The goof was a fitting end to the ridiculous game, in which Fallon and Cranston are given five random words to slip into conversation as seamlessly as possible. Things, as you can imagine, don’t go so smoothly, with the two laughing through an absurd chat about Godzilla wearing dungarees, eating soup with a spork and riding down a slip ‘n’ slide that ends in a vat of guacamole with legendary third baseman Wade Boggs.
After winning three Emmys for his turn as Walter White on Breaking Bad, Cranston is now one step closer to earning the “T” in his EGOT, recently nabbing a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Play for his portrayal of LBJ in the Broadway show All The Way. With any luck, he’ll complete the entertainment industry feat by taking home an Oscar for his upcoming role in Godzilla, and a Grammy for the audiobook of his in-the-works memoir, set to be published in fall 2015.
