Emma Stone Owns Jimmy Fallon in ‘Tonight Show’ Lip Sync Battle
The rules of The Tonight Show Lip Sync battle are simple: Two competitors enter, one invariably makes Jimmy Fallon lose his mind. While Fallon pulled out all the stops as usual, opening with a grandiose interpretation of Iggy Azalea‘s “Fancy,” Emma Stone‘s ice cold lip sync of Blues Traveler‘s “Hook” — delivered with the deliberate, determined motions of a proven diva — left the Tonight Show host quaking in his boots and admitting, “I forgot all about that song!”

Fallon then broke out some good ol’ fashioned mechanical moves for a theatrical, literal rendition of Styx‘s “Mr. Roboto,” but Stone said it all with her next choice: DJ Khaled‘s “All I Do Is Win.” Channeling the spirit of Ludacris and the triumph of a thousand karaoke champions, Stone left Fallon in stitches and with the obvious decision to declare the actress the clear winner.
Stone has a busy summer ahead of her, appearing alongside Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which opens May 2nd; and on July 25th she’ll star in Woody Allen’s latest, Magic In the Moonlight. Stone spoke to Rolling Stone about clamming up at the thought of just speaking to Allen, one of her heroes: “People I admire I’m really okay with, but there are people that I literally hold as heroes in my life, who made me want to do what I do and made me understand life in a different way — and he’s one of them. So I wouldn’t be so cool around him.”
