Kanye West, Michael Stipe, Skrillex Join Fashion Auction for Sandy Relief
A group of artists, designers, actors and more have come together for Re/Create, a series of fashion auctions to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief. R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Kanye West, Skrillex, Anne Hathaway, Julianne Moore, Selena Gomez, Chloe Sevigny, Kate Moss and Prince Albert II of Monaco are among those contributing items, which include everything from autographed Nikes and sculptures to jackets and purses.

“Like many New Yorkers, we were saddened by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy and motivated to help,” writes the group on the Re/Create website. “To assist the ongoing relief and rebuilding efforts we are proud to present this auction of personal, one-of-a-kind items donated by prominent members of our creative community.” Auctions start Friday night.
