“In this episode, I give thanks to David, who has been so supportive to me,” Afrojack tells Rolling Stone. “Support like this is everything to an artist on the way up and he inspired me to want to give back in the same way to others. Now when I attend major shows around the world, I take time out to meet with aspiring artists. My message to them is work hard, believe in yourself and never give up. I have the most incredible job in the world; I worked hard for it, but it can happen to you if you really want it. “
Directed by Akshay Bhansali and Sam Sneed for We Are Not Pilgrims, the closing part of the series accompanies Afrojack’s latest single, “The Spark,” which was released on October 11th. On a related note, Afrojack will wind down his ongoing North American tour with dates in New York on October 31st, Lansing, Michigan on November 1st and New Orleans’ Voodoo Festival on November 2nd.
