Kanye West Won’t Face Felony Charge in Paparazzi Scuffle
Kanye West won’t be charged with a felony for scuffling with a paparazzi last month at Los Angeles International Airport, but the rap star could still face misdemeanor charges. The L.A. County district attorney’s office decided not to file a felony charge, but is referring the case to the city attorney, who could file a misdemeanor charge, The Associated Press reports.

Video of the July 19th incident at LAX showed West addressing a photographer who had apparently made a comment to the rapper, and then wrestling the paparazzi to the ground. Prosecutors say the photographer did not suffer any significant injury and it’s not clear whether his camera was damaged. They also noted noted that West has no felony record.
West in June released his sixth solo LP, Yeezus.
