Albert Hammond Jr. Shows Sensitive Side in ‘St. Justice’
Albert Hammond Jr. steams things up with Dutch model Nina de Raadt in the new video for “St. Justice,” a song from his five-song EP AHJ, which is the Strokes guitartist’s first solo release since completing rehab in 2009.
The New Immortals: The Strokes
The video, shot in black-and-white, follows the Strokes rocker and the model over the course of a day or two as they go through records, sit together in a bathtub and shake things up between the sheets. The song lends itself to the suggestive and easygoing theme of the video with happy-go-lucky guitar riffs and reflective lyrics.
“It feels like the universe has just lined up for me to really take responsibility: ‘If want to do this thing, do it. Stop trying to hide behind things. Just do it and take the good and the bad straight up,'” Hammond told Rolling Stone recently. “I’m excited about that. I’m ready.”
