Arcade Fire to Follow ‘SNL’ Performance With Concert Special
Arcade Fire have taken an unorthodox path to promoting their upcoming fourth LP, Reflektor: teasing their release date over Twitter, releasing an interactive music video and playing a secret show in costume. However, the Canadian art-rockers are settling into a more familiar, more mainstream approach.
As Consequence of Sound reports, NBC will air a 30-minute concert special from the band on September 28th. It immediately follows their appearance as musical guests on that night’s season premiere of Saturday Night Live.

Though NBC confirmed the news, they wouldn’t offer any specifics about the special. Since the concert is touted as a means to “celebrate” the band’s new album, it’s likely to feature plenty of new material.
Reflektor will be released on October 29th on Merge Records.
