Rockers take on occasional member's 2004 track
Mark Lanegan has some good friends. The former Screaming Trees frontman’s 2004 solo track “One Hundred Days” has been covered by his occasional bandmates in Queens of the Stone Age, and Josh Homme and company went acoustic on the touching, aching song.

As Antiquiet notes, the recording came from a three-song acoustic set for the French radio station OuiFM. “One Hundred Days” was originally on Lanegan’s 2004 album Bubblegum, which featured contributions from Homme, and it’s a nice nod to Lanegan, who guested on Queens of the Stone Age‘s recent album . . .Like Clockwork.
