Behind the Scenes with the Lone Bellow
We share a lot of things as a band – space, stories, hair tips. At the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

Portraits
We haven't mastered posing for portraits quite yet.
-
Red
This is my favorite part of getting ready for a show. Red lipstick makes me feel prepared for anything.
-
Steaming
Here I am steaming my husband's shirt, because he agreed to struggle through the crowd to get my makeup bag that I left in the van.
-
Stoked
The Troubadour hosted the last two shows of our first year as a touring band. We were stoked to play them with our buddies Ivan and Alyosha.
-
The Door
The first night ends with load-out and Brian's look of childish wonder. (We're standing outside because we couldn't find the troubaDOOR.)
-
Rituals
Pre-show rituals include tuning and zoning out.
-
Ready
Here we are getting ready for the first of our two sold-out nights at the Troubadour. Also featured is the back of our tour manager's head.
-
Bring It In
Before every show, we bring it in to focus on the night and encourage each other.
-
Broken Strings
I think we had just broken some guitar strings when this shot was taken, which usually means the show is going in the right direction.
-
Jumping Down
We jumped down from the stage and finished the last song of the set with the crowd.
-
Tough Shot
Joseph Llanes trampled some fans and stood on the speakers to get this shot.
-
Quick Exit
We make a quick exit before the encore.

Meet the Band
Each night after a show we come out and meet anyone who has stayed to talk.
