‘March of the Afrojack’ Shows DJ’s Set Gone Awry – Premiere
The second installment of the documentary March of the Afrojack opens with the DJ living the high life on a boat in Miami before performing at the Ultra dance festival, but his performance would soon go awry. During his set, fans and Afrojack alike were enjoying his tunes when the sound cut off for five minutes, a lull that may as well have been months. In this exclusive clip, a clearly disappointed Afrojack explains that there’s no recovering a set after such a long delay.

“This part of the series shows how great it can be and how tough it can be when you have technical difficulties,” he says. “But if things go wrong, you just have to remain strong and positive and not get sidetracked. You make the best out of it for the fans.”
The DJ had to look on the bright side for himself, too; he went to spend time with his friends and celebrate his mom’s birthday, which raised his spirits.
“It’s an awesome experience getting to play at huge festivals all over the world, but it’s also a lot of pressure. I always try to give the fans a new experience and a musical journey to remember, but things don’t always go [according] to plan,” he admits.
Afrojack’s new single, “The Spark,” is on October 11th on Island Records.
