The Secret Exprience of Hillary Clinton
The award comes following a 2011 speech Clinton gave on International Human Rights Day in which she said that gay rights were human rights and that recognizing them as such would help lead to a world free of HIV and AIDS.
Clinton will be honored at the foundation’s benefit in October, along with celebrity chef Sandra Lee, businessman Ronald Perelman and Howard Rose, who is a founding member of the organization. Anderson Cooper will host the gala.
