Foy Vance and Bonnie Raitt Harmonize on ‘You and I’ – Song Premiere
Foy Vance and Bonnie Raitt blend their voices on Vance’s new track, “You and I.” Raitt’s sweet, subtle singing accentuates Vance’s impassioned croon in the harmonies, set to the gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar.

“‘You and I’ was indirectly inspired by Bonnie Raitt when I was on the road with her in Europe back in 2005, although the song didn’t come till much later,” Vance tells Rolling Stone. “It was a tough call to phone Bonnie, the 10-time Grammy Award-winning legend, and ask her to sing backing vocals on one of my songs, but thankfully she is the sterling human being she is and said yes!”
“You and I” will be on Vance’s upcoming album, Joy of Nothing, due August 27th. He will tour in support of the new LP in the U.S. this fall.
