Pot Found on Justin Bieber Tour Bus in Detroit
U.S. border authorities found marijuana on Justin Bieber‘s tour bus on Sunday during a search in Detroit as it tried to enter the United States from Canada, the Detroit Free Press reports.
The singer was not on the bus at the time, according to Kenneth Hammond, chief officer and public affairs liaison for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit. Bieber was scheduled to perform that night at Joe Louis Arena.

According to Hammond, a drug sniffing dog picked up the trace of illegal substances during a secondary inspection of the bus. Police ultimately found and seized a small amount of marijuana intended for personal use, as well as drug paraphernalia. The driver was issued a civil penalty and the bus and its passengers were released.
Just a few months back authorities in Sweden discovered drugs and a stun gun on the pop star’s bus, which they raided after reportedly smelling marijuana coming from inside. While the police sent the drugs to the lab for analysis, they did not make any arrests nor did they plan to push the matter any further.
Also this year, paparazzi snapped a photo of Bieber smoking what appeared to be pot at a hotel party. Though the singer never officially copped to toking, he did address fans on Twitter soon after, writing: “i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u”
