Paul McCartney Shuts Down Hollywood Boulevard
Paul McCartney took over Hollywood Boulevard last night for a 15-song set that followed his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The former Beatle played a pair of songs for television on the roof of the El Capitan Theatre before heading downstairs to delight a crowd of 10,000 with Beatles selections and three songs from his forthcoming album New.
Paul McCartney and 25 More Artists With Must-Hear Albums This Fall
New, due out on October 15th, will be McCartney’s first new album of solo material in six years, and features production from Paul Epworth, Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns and Giles Martin. McCartney has spent much of this year on his Out There! tour, which included a stop at Bonnaroo in June in addition to a collaboration with the Kronos Quartet at Outside Landsin August.
