Of Monsters and Men Zombify Themselves With ‘Walking Dead’ App
Of Monsters and Men are hungry for your brains. The Icelandic folk-rockers contributed a song to The Walking Dead soundtrack and, in the spirit of the AMC zombie drama, the musicians have turned themselves into walkers using the new "Dead Yourself" app. The free app lets fans transform photos of themselves into zombified visages with grotesque eyes, mouths, props and more. There's also an interactive map that posts pictures in real-time so fans can see how infected their neighborhoods really are.
The Walking Dead Soundtrack: Volume One will be out on March 19th and also features music from Delta Spirit, Baby Bee, Voxhaul Broadcast and more. The Walking Dead is currently in the middle of its third season and has been renewed for a fourth. For more information on "Dead Yourself," visit the app's website.
Here, Kristján Páll Kristjánsson tests out "Dead Yourself," with delightfully horrific results.
