Justin Timberlake Confirms Second ’20/20 Experience’ Album
Justin Timberlake has confirmed that he’s planning to release a companion volume to his new album The 20/20 Experience. The singer said last night that a second volume was on the way during a release party for the first installation at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I need to clear up a rumor,” Timberlake said of whispers that the version of the LP, out today, was only “the first half of the album.” “Those rumors are true,” he added, though did not reveal when volume two would be released.

The rumors started after Roots drummer Questlove posted on the Okayplayer chat board that Timberlake would have another album out this year, writing, “spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…10 songs later= 20 vision).”
The drummer was certainly a reliable source: he had just spent the week with Timberlake on the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and also performed a DJ set before the pop star’s SXSW show in Austin. “He played me songs out of order and off both records so i don’t know what made the final cut,” Questlove added in the web post.
