2 Chainz Blasts Oklahoma Cops
2 Chainz tells Rolling Stone he’s getting frustrated with local cops targeting him on tour. “I’m not happy about it,” says the Atlanta MC, hanging out backstage at Philadelphia’s Made in America festival last weekend. “I don’t want to go to jail.”

Last month, 2 Chainz and 10 associates were charged with obstructing a police officer after they spent nine hours refusing to let Oklahoma City cops onto his tour bus without a warrant. (Today, it was reported that the police claim to have found weapons and drugs on the bus.) But the rapper says he is confident he can beat the charge. “It’s something that, essentially, a public defender could beat,” he says. “I could actually take myself to trial for a lot of this shit.”
Adds Chainz, “I don’t want to waste the taxpayers’ money on this. Because, guess what? I pay a fucking lot of taxes!”
2 Chainz’ second solo album, B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, featuring guests from Drake and Lil Wayne to the Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie, is due in stores September 10th.
