Miley Cyrus Performs ‘We Can’t Stop’ on ‘Kimmel,’ Talks Weed and Snoop
Miley Cyrus stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to perform her new single “We Can’t Stop” less than a week after releasing its racy, bizarre music video. Just like the clip, the live rendition featured more suggestive and head-scratching moments.

Miley started off her performance by grinding on a guy on a couch while various dancers twerked, carried around big teddy bears and, in one instance, rode on a stationary bike. She followed that up with a lightweight duet on “Fall Down” with Will.i.am – though, to be fair, she was battling laryngitis.
“I did not realize when you walked out you were wearing your underpants,” Kimmel said at the start of his interview with Cyrus. He also wondered about the inspiration for the “We Can’t Stop” video’s party scenes, to which Cyrus responded, “It’s inspired by true events. It’s not just from one night. We had the Corona bottle piñata with the hot dogs in it; that was from my brother’s birthday.” As for the video’s french-fry skull? “I just thought that was cool,” she said.
Following this, Kimmel and Cyrus discussed her marijuana-based friendship with Snoop Dogg. “We’re more alike than you think. . . we’re very similar,” she said, to which Kimmel quipped, “That’s because he’s so high, he doesn’t know what his name is.”
“Me too, so it’s fine. We both are,” she responded, laughing. “That’s why we get along so well, I guess.”
