Beyonce Faces Past Selves in ‘Grown Woman’ Ad
A new Beyoncé track, “Grown Woman,” is at the center of a new advertising campaign for Pepsi, whose first spot finds the pop star rehearsing dance moves in front of a row of mirrors populated by reflections of Beyoncé’s past (“Bootylicious”-era to “Crazy In Love” to “Single Ladies”).
Beyonce Calls Herself a ‘Modern-Day Feminist’
Driven by a militaristic click-clack rhythm, “Grown Woman” builds with every one of Bey’s hyper-confident assertions – though tragically cuts off right before it hits the chorus. The track joins “Bow Down/I Been On” as Beyoncé’s latest musical offerings, though there’s no word on when the full version of “Grown Woman” will be released or whether the song will be included on the singer’s long-awaited new album (title and release date still to be announced).
Beyoncé will kick off a world tour in Serbia later this month, with North American dates slated to start in late June.
