“Waiting” finds the band in surprisingly bright territory, blending Travis Morrison’s quirky vocals with snaky synths and a funky bassline.
Uncanney Valley, the band’s first full-length since 2001’s Change, was announced last month. The band first reunited in 2011 for a tour based around the reissue of their 1999 landmark album, Emergency and I.
