Nine Inch Nails Introduce ‘Disappointed’ Onstage
After debuting “Find My Way” at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, Nine Inch Nails introduced “Disappointed,” another new cut off their upcoming LP Hesitation Marks during their set at the Ansan Valley Rock Festival in South Korea.
The band paired “Disappointed” with another new, though previously played, track, “A Copy of A,” both of which you can check out in this decent quality fan shot video. Propelled by sparse, but wholly danceable percussion, “Disappointed” rides a wash of all-consuming synths and concludes with eerie string solos played on a violin and an erhu.

The three new tracks played live follow the first single from Hesitation Marks (out September 3rd), “Came Back Haunted,” which has included a video directed by David Lynch. Hesitation Marks also features a slew of big-name collaborators including Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and King Crimson’s Adrian Belew (who was set to play in the NIN touring lineup, though recently decided to bow out).
The band is set to return the United States soon for some festival dates – including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Made in America – with a full tour slated to kick off on September 28th.
