Here, get an exclusive first listen to the band’s acoustic version of “Bloodflood,” originally released as a single in 2011. The acoustic track replaces the original’s heavy and constant beats, eerie children’s chants, and extra effects with just fluttering piano and smoother, slower vocals. The only driving beat lies in a cappella-esque vocal portions for an affecting result.
An Awesome Wave is available on Canvasback/Atlantic.
