Adam Levine Under Fire for ‘I Hate This Country’ Comment
Adam Levine is under fire for his controversial comment on last night’s episode of The Voice. After his contestants Judith Hill and Sarah Simmons were eliminated – leaving Amber Carrington as his team’s sole survivor – the Maroon 5 singer and coach on The Voice seemingly muttered “I hate this country” into a live mic while off-screen. Levine took to Twitter after the show, sarcastically defending himself in a series of tweets that posted dictionary definitions to the words “joke,” “humorless,” “lighthearted” and “misunderstand.”
