Rick Ross ‘Rape’ Lyrics Dropped From ‘U.O.E.N.O’.
Rick Ross‘ controversial verse from Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.,” which has been criticized for condoning rape, will be removed from the song, Rocko told New York radio station Hot 97 in a recent interview.
“It’s a Catch-22,” Rocko said. “I don’t want to take him off, but one thing that’s set in stone is he’s always going to be on that song . . . It doesn’t matter who I put on the song, that’s going to always be the original version. It’s not like I can do another version and call it the original.”

While Rocko didn’t say who would replace Ross on the song, the MC said he had “six different verses” for the track, including one from Young Jeezy.
As for Ross, criticism continues to mount over the line in which he rhymed about slipping a pill into a woman’s drink then taking her home. Ross initially told New Orleans radio station Q93 that the situation was a “misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term ‘rape’ wasn’t used.'”
Many, however, were underwhelmed by Ross’ apology and his subsequent statements on Twitter, including the women’s group Ultra Violet, which staged a protest outside a Reebok store last week in New York City, demanding the shoe company drop an endorsement deal with the rapper.
