As Carrie’s rage and alienation build from constant ridicule and a longing to be “normal,” she discovers the depths of her unusual power. And come prom time, everyone must pay.
King’s book, his first published novel, was adapted into an acclaimed 1976 movie directed by Brian DePalma and starring Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie, who received Oscar nominations for their roles. The new version of Carrie is due for an October 18th release.
